THE Little Lambs pre-school playgroup in Lamerton has been awarded £250 Community Cashback by the Royal Bank of Scotland group.
Helen Davey, assistant manageress of NatWest in Launceston, a member of the bank group, has a child at the playgroup and helps out at it. She said she was delighted her employers had recognised her involvement with the Little Lambs and awarded the money, which will be used to buy new tables.
The playgroup, which meets in the village hall, is open on Mondays and Thursday from 9.30am to noon for three to five year olds and from 10am to 11.30am for under threes. There will be an open day on November 18, where there will be face painting, a photographer, cake stall and lucky dip.
