WE ARE supporters of Milton Abbot School?s peace window. We believe that having the peace window will encourage people to remember others less fortunate than themselves. It would be unfair if they?re not allowed to have their peace window because they have already raised over half the amount of money.
Although it is a listed building, we think the council should reconsider and let Milton Abbot pay their respects to the many people who unfortunately died.
The window is a token of peace and therefore people should have the right to show others what they believe in.
We are going to move into a new school in February, and we will have a beautiful artistic window of our own.
We hope Milton Abbot will win this case and enjoy the splendour of having a magnificent peace window.
