A REUNION of the Infant School in Chagford for pupils who attended the school before the Second World War is being held next month.

Chagford resident Mrs Pat McGlynn said the reunion was for ?those of us who were at the old Infant School next to the Three Crowns.

?The old building is now converted into a public meeting place, which brings back many old memories from those days for us.?

Mrs McGlynn said she plans to hold the reunion on the afternoon of Sunday, August 17.

Mrs McGlynn said many of the former pupils now lived far away and transport could be a problem. She is asking anyone who intends to come but has little idea of where they may be able to stay to contact her, so that she may be able to find them accommodation in the Chagford area.
