KELLY College 1st VII netball team travelled away to Wellington and recorded another big win — 42-8.
Also playing away, the 2nd VII exceeded expectations. Guided by captain Hayley Wedlake, they pulled out all the stops to win.
The U16s battled to keep the lead all the way through with captain Vicky Sanders and Faye George shooting well, to win.
The U15s played a steady game but it was not until the third quarter that Charlotte Hill linked well with Toni Fulton, captain and goal shooter, and with great shooting managed to hold the team together. They drew 11-11.
Also playing away, the U13s were at Plymouth College.
The weather was harsh and the court was on a slippy slope, but despite a couple of injuries and a lost contact lens, the team played well.
Frankie Murphy played well and Hannah Paull's father gave tremendous support. The final result was 17-4 in Kelly's favour.
The U12s played on an indoor court and were well supported by parents.
The opposition umpire was impressed by the team's performance—they won 17-4.
