THERE's an opportunity evening of flamenco dance and music with Claudia Caolin and her ensemble of guitarists at Callington next week.
Marian Watson, secretary of Callington Arts Venue (CaVe) said there had already been great interest in the event, on Friday, November 19: 'This show creates an event dedicated to traditional Flamenco art, originating in the rich culture of Andalusia, with live authentic Flamenco music, song and dance.'
The bar will open at 7pm. Tapas will be included in the entry price.
Ticket prices are adult £10, children £8, family £28 (2+2) and are available from the town hall, Kivells, or phone 07870 818645.
In another first for Callington, Plymouth Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship will be visiting the town on December 17 with a semi-staged version of Trial by Jury, together with extracts from the Pirates of Penzance, and a finale of Seasonal Music, in a charity concert for St John Ambulance. Tickets will be available from the town hall, or telephone 07870 818645.
