WEST Devon Borough Council's customer services team will be bringing their usual Christmas cheer to one of West Devon's traditional events, Okehampton's Edwardian Evening on Thursday December 3.
Advisors will be available between 6pm and 8.30pm at the St James Street offices to help residents with all sorts of enquiries, as well as informing them about scores of services they may not even be aware of.
Joining the team during the festivities will be one of the council's planning officers, who will be happy to answer any planning enquiries.
To get into the spirit of the event, light festive fare will be on offer.
There will also be the opportunity for visitors to enter a free draw, with prizes donated by the Fountain Hotel, Martin's Butchers, CP Angling, Julz 4 U, Beanfeast, Donald's Menswear, Waitrose, St James Street Antiques, the Oak Tree and In-House.
The Okehampton Customer Services Centre in St James Street is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm, where customers can receive help and advice on all council services.
Visitors also have access to a multitude of agencies and services via a touch screen information point. The centre is also attended on a regular basis by the registrar and police.
For further information about any of West Devon's services contact one of the advisors on 01822 813600.
