A GUNNISLAKE man is to face trial at Plymouth Crown Court after denying a serious assault on another man in Tavistock.

Joe Elliott pleaded not guilty to wounding Craig Groombridge with intent on August 13 last year, and to an alternative count of unlawful wounding, when he appeared at the crown court on Monday.

Elliott was granted unconditional bail — his trial is set for October 29.
