A WEST Devon garden is opening its gates to the public as part of the National Garden Scheme.
Coombe Trenchard's eight-acre arts and crafts garden was designed in 1906 by architect Walter Sarel, and boasts terraces, garden buildings, paths and bridges.
Two years into the restoration project, forgotten paths, woodland gardens, water gardens and the pattern of long forgotten Edwardian planting schemes have been discovered.
After enjoying the garden, visitors will be able to browse a small selection of stalls selling local plants, crafts and produce and tuck into a cream tea.
The garden in Lewdown, will be open on Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 18 from 2pm to 5pm.
There will be signposts from the old A30 and at the crossroads close to Lewtrenchard Church.
