A FREE art event for kids is being held on April 6 at Artworks at the Exeter Industrial Estate, Okehampton with storytelling, banner-making, puppet-making and video.
The event, between 10am and 1pm, is entitled Rainforest and explores the forest and its animals through art at Okehampton's new art, play, training and resource centre.
Some of the work will be used as part of an art project by Greenpeace, which will urge world governments to agree action to secure the long-term protection of remaining rainforests at a summit in The Hague in April.
Rainforest is open to kids of all ages and adults may also want to join in. The emphasis in on art, play and fun.
