TAVISTOCK Golf Club ladies? section played their April medal on the 13th.

There were some very good scores in both divisions. In division 1 Rosemary Cook came in with a net score of 66 and Ginny Samborne was runner-up with a net 68.

The ELGA Rosebud Competition was also played that day and was won by Janet Walls with a net score of 70 after count-back. Wendy Wroe was runner-up once more, also with 70.

The following week a stableford competition was played and again there were some excellent scores.

Division 1 was won by Penny Deakin with 41 points. Division 2 was won by Margo Angel with 38 points and division 3 was won by Madeleine Thurgill with 37 points.
