OKEHAMPTON and District Tennis Club has started its summer season and held its annual meeting on Monday at the Conservative Club. The club plays every Tuesday from 6pm until 9.30pm, and on Saturdays from 2pm until 5pm. Wednesday evenings are reserved for children between the age of 12 and 16, and Saturday mornings are set aside for fully-supervised sessions for those under the age of eleven. The club has also introduced a ladies' evening every Thursday at which junior and adult women are welcome.
