LAST week, I and a number of local residents received notification that the Morrisons store intends to appeal against a council planning decision. The decision was against illuminated signs to the main roof and main entrance of store, petrol station roof canopy (four signs), on fascia to petrol station entrance plus free standing sign. Your readers will no doubt note that all of these items are already in place. I find the contempt of this town and its inhabitants to be amongst the worst ever shown by a major PLC.
