ELDERLY and disabled people of all ages are being offered the chance to enjoy a day out visiting stunning locations within Dartmoor National Park under an Easy-going Dartmoor Tours scheme.
The tours will use vehicles which are fully accessible and equipped to carry wheelchairs, with attendants, carers and families welcome to join.
Options will include an easy going stroll with coffee and lunch in a moorland town, or trips to enjoy the views of the moor.
The tours will be running from a number of different locations.
In the west of the moor, they will start and finish at the Anchorage Centre in Tavistock on June 7, July 5, August 9 and September 6. These will last from 10am to 3.30pm. Booking and information is available on 01822 616958.
There are also tours from Ivybridge, Bovey Tracey and Exeter, with special themed tours from Newton Abbot Railway Station. All tours cost £5 per person.
