PLYMSTOCK, batting second and chasing an inadequate 85 set by an off-form Whitchurch, knocked the runs off without loss in the 14th over.
James Collings, (52 no) and Tom Langridge (29 no) never looked in any trouble and simply had to punish the bad balls that came their way all too often.
Whitchurch lost wickets steadily throughout their innings and found themselves 27 for 7 just after halfway.
At this point, Rob Jinman came in to join James Lampe and the pair put on 48 before Lampe (37) was run out backing up too far. Rob Jinman (15) fell soon after being left with no other option than to hit out.
The Plymstock bowling was tight throughout.
