PREPARATIONS are in full flow for Children's Hospice South West's (CHSW) next fundraising event, the ladies-only Moonlight Memory Walk which is happening in Saltash on the evening of Saturday, October 11.

The team from CHSW is sending a heartfelt thank you to every lady who has registered to take part and to all of the volunteers who will be giving their time to help make the event a success.

Sarah Stott, events fundraiser for CHSW, said: 'Our hospice, Little Harbour, is a haven for so many families and money raised from this event will go straight towards the care of those families and their life limited children. Every penny fundraised for CHSW is truly appreciated.'

If you are taking part in the walk, the CHSW team will be ready to welcome you for registration between 8pm and 9.30pm at Longstone Park, where you will be given your Moonlight Memory Walk T-shirt. At 9.45pm there will be a candle-lit Memory Ceremony to remember and celebrate loved ones, this is followed by a warm up and walkers set off for the four mile walk at 10pm.
