THE roads and tollhouses of Devon are the subject of a talk organised by The West Devon Association of  National Trust (NTWDA) next week.

The talk by Roy and Ursula Radford, both of whom are local speakers is at 2 pm. on Thursday, April 18 in Bridestowe Village Hall.

Roy and Ursula have travelled extensively throughout the West Country to seek out, visit and photograph a wide range of historic tollhouses in a variety of styles.

Their illustrated talk gives a fascinating overview of these once common features of towns, villages and bridges, etc. All who are interested to attend, are welcome. Admission £3.
