THE popular Dartmoor Freewheeler bike bus service is up and running once again. The free service will run every Sunday until September 30, and will operate the same four routes on a rota basis: The first Sunday of each month will be the route from Saltram to Princetown; second Sunday Newton Abbot to Mardon Down; third Sunday Plymouth to Okehampton; fourth Sunday Buckfastleigh to Postbridge. Where there is a fifth Sunday in the month, an extra Saltram to Princetown route will be run. Leaflet packs are available from the High Moorland Visitor Centre in Princetown, or can be downloaded from the Dartmoor National Park Authority?s website, http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk">www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk As the bike trailer can only hold a maximum of 12 bikes, booking is advisable through the centre, tel 01822 890414.
