Okehampton Argyle Seconds 4
Dunkerswell Seconds 0
OKEHAMPTON started strongly and forced early saves from the visitors' keeper which was to be the pattern of the match.
Okehampton opened their account after a couple of fine saves saw the Dunkerswell keeper beaten by a poor defensive goal with a long-range Chris Wills shot getting a final touch from Aaron Bourne — the visitors' defence all stopped for an offside which even their own linesman did not give.
As in similar fashion to previous weeks, Okehampton squandered easy chances before Steve Williams scored their second from a Danny Maddax wide ball to Roger Voaden whose cross was tapped home by Williams from close range.
Okehampton contained the visitors to limited attacks and made all the play — when Bourne headed home his second at the far post Dunkerswell were finished.
Neil Agnew worked tirelessly down the middle and got his reward when he shot home after the keeper failed to hold the ball.
This Saturday away to Axmouth, 3pm kick-off.
