THERE will be plenty to do for youngsters during half-term week thanks to a wide programme of activities being promoted by community sports organisation OCRA.
Sport and art days will be running at Okehampton Community College for those aged 6 to 14 on Tuesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 28.
Sporting activities include football, cricket, tennis, squash, netball, tag rugby, unihoc, swimming and basketball.
Those who fancy developing an artistic bent will be able to work creatively with clay, glass painting and mask-making. There are limited places, so book early.
On the Friday, (October 29) Plymouth Argyle will again hold a soccer school at Okehampton Community College.
The course will be about having fun as well as being taught skills by qualified FA coaches. The event is run by Argyle?s Football in the Community Scheme and is open to boys and girls from 7 to 14 years of age.
The football camp costs £10 and runs from 10am to 3pm ? all you need is boots, trainers, a packed lunch and plenty to drink.

l OCRA is also setting up a six-a-side adult football league in Okehampton, ideal for sports clubs, groups of friends and work colleagues.
Games will take place on the all-weather pitch between 7pm and 9pm each Monday starting from November 1.
