THE Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue held a Companion Dog Show in conjunction with Okehampton May Fair on Sunday, May 5.

Thanks were expressed to all who supported the show, which raised £546, and to Sandra Blackford for judging and supporting the sharity.

Winners of the four pedigree classes — AV Puppy (6-12 months): Della (Ann Chamness); AV sporting and best in show: Logan (Marilyn Osman);  AV non-sporting and reserve best in show: Bracken (Denise Davy); AV open and best in show: Ace (Marilyn Osman).

Winners of the ten novelty classes — Crossbreed: Meg (Lo Walczak); Veteran: Heidi (Jenny Symons); Rescued/rehomed: Jessie (Phil Read); Long coat: Ryelee (Lennon Collins); Short coat and reserve best in show: Barney (Sharon Fowks); Appealing eyes: Cody (Emma Reilly); Handsome male: Jake (Lucy Abbot); Prettiest female and best in show: Perdy (Sheila Downs); Best movement: Max (Lauren Abbot); Dog judge would take home: Cody (Emma Reilly).
