ROWDEN Gardens at Brentor is just one of 39 gardens in full bloom for Devon Air Ambulance Trust?s ?Welcome Gardens 2004? scheme this year.

The gardens will open from April 1 to October 1 and anyone can arrange a visit by contacting John and Galen Carter on 01822 810275.

Lyn Paver, general manager of the Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) said: ?Our 2004 garden scheme has really bloomed this year, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank both our new and existing gardeners for their support.

?Visiting gardens is a fantastic way to unwind after a busy week and raise funds for the DAAT at the same time.?

The Old Rectory at Widecombe-in-the-Moor is also opening its gates this year.

Opening dates are between March 15 and October 31 and visitors should contact Rachel Belgrave on 01364 621231.
