I FOUND myself in two surprising situations recently, first I agreed with Zoe Bradshaw (Letters, September 2) that Devon County do not listen to complaints, although there is a pretence of consultation.
The obvious inefficiency of the traffic lights in Okehampton is ignored more often than modest traffic flows are caused unnecessary delays.
The second situation was being told off by visitors from New Zealand, who were staying with us, ?because I did not warn them about the traffic lights? and they had to queue for over half an hour get into town. Following this they avoided Okehampton during the rest of their stay. But me being told off about the traffic lights! This is just too much.
