LOCAL musicians, artists and craftspeople have just one more day to express their interest in two major arts and crafts events in Tavistock in September.
Tavistock Forward is organising the events, the first being a showcase of local arts and traditional crafts, with up to 20 people being able to demonstrate their work and sell their wares through an open air market on Bedford Square.
The provisional date is Saturday, September 7.
The second event is an opportunity for local performing artists to showcase their talent at a range of venues around the town, which should appeal to both professionals and amateurs.
The provisional date for this is Saturday, September 21.
If the two events are successful, Tavistock Forward hopes a week-long festival can be planned for next year.
