CHRISTIAN churches in Tavistock are offering a new service to bring people together for prayer and discussion. 'God at Work' will take place every Wednesday at Tavistock Parish Church, between 1.10pm and 1.40pm in the Lady Chapel, and will be looking at those issues affecting daily lives, especially those concerning work. The first session is on June 4. The Rev Jeff Moles, Methodist minister and the chairman of Tavistock Area Christians Together, will be leading the first session. He said: 'Working life today can be very stressful and I hope this new initiative will provide a quiet space in the middle of the working week to look at some work-related issues and seek to find refreshment and a spiritual perspective. 'Anyone interested can just turn up on the day and bring their lunch.'
