UPPER class Brits, a prominent politician and members of the criminal underworld get together in Belstone this month, when the Belstone Players tackle Agatha Christie?s Greatest Case. Residents who fancy a spot of armchair sleuthing should make a date for February 18 and 19, when the players take to the stage in Belstone Village Hall, where the action centres on a weekend party at Brandling Hall. There, the dark secrets of the guests and the strange connection between politician Humphrey Yewturn and criminals Ronnie Bigg and Barry the Hatchet will be revealed to all as the murder mystery unfolds. To enjoy an evening of mystery, just call Marion and Chris Walpole on 01837 840498 for a ticket. The performances begin at 7.30pm.
