CHRISTIANS Together in Okehampton have a new secretary, Ann Pantrey, who was appointed at the last committee meeting.
Ann moved to Okehampton in August 2002 after her husband Cliff had taken early retirement. Both Ann and Cliff are regular worshippers at All Saints Parish Church, in Okehampton. Ann already holds the post of parish clerk at Tedburn St Mary.
Ann said she felt very strong about the need for strongly links between different denominations and was 'delighted' to be involved with Christians Together in Okehampton.
Chairman of Christians Together, Mike Davies, said: 'I am pleased that Ann is now on board as I believe that she will be of great assistance in our aim of putting the Christian message into the community.'
The next combined service will be at Okehampton Baptist Church on March 21, at 6pm, with the service being organised by the Rev Derek Hayward.
