A MAN who died following a car accident in Tavistock last Tuesday has been named by police as 73-year-old Roy Lashbrook from Tavistock. Mr Lashbrook?s family issued a statement following his death, describing him as a loving man who lived for his family. The statement said: ?He had worked for South West Water for 30 years and was involved in installing the Dousland Water Treatment works. ?He was able to spend many hours of his retirement doing what he loved, gardening. He will be dearly missed by all.? Police have issued an appeal for witnesses who were on the B3357 Tavistock to Princetown road around 4pm on Tuesday June 5. No other vehicles were involved in the collision ? one of the lines of inquiry police are following is that Mr Lashbrook?s death was due to natural causes.
