I WOULD like to respond to letters and articles concerning the trees at Wyatts Lane.
I believe the trees are not established and are saplings of ash, sycamore and yew. They may even by disturbing the natural Devon hedge that separates Wyatts Lane and Cole Moore Meadow.
I think it?s extremely unfair to portray the builders as uncaring; they are an established local building firm who have employed local people over the past 50 years or so.
Residents of Wyatts Lane should have realised there was planning permission in that field and that their surroundings would at some point be changing.
Where were the voices for the beech trees when the new development opposite the hospital occurred? Poor beautiful mature trees.
