A FREE weekly parent and toddler morning starts on Friday May 6 at the Growing Our Future garden at Okehampton College.
The mornings are designed to be a fun mixture of play, gardening and woodland crafts.
Toddlers will be able to go out and about in the gardens, using imagination and natural materials to explore and enjoy the environment around them.
The gardens are part of the college's drive to become more environmentally friendly.
There is a nature garden full of green areas and flowers, and a kitchen garden, where children can learn about sustainable living and how to grow their own food, experiencing sowing seeds and the growing process.
Parents are asked to bring suitable footwear and coats based on the weather, although some children's waterproofs can be provided.
The sessions will meet at 10am outside the Growing Our Future Hut — the college main reception can point you in the right direction if needed. Each session will finish at 12pm.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided. For future information, please call Shanti on 07814 367964.
