Tavistock branch of the Muscular Dystrophy (MD) Campaign recently held its annual get-together at the Methodist Church.

The event was a chance for youngsters with MD to meet and have fun — and to express thanks to all their supporters.

After visiting the town and playing games, the group was joined by families and fundraisers and everyone enjoyed a 'pasty and pudding' tea. The MD group was delighted to receive some generous cheques which will help fund their respite holiday week to Hereward College, near Coventry in August.

The branch expressed thanks to all those who have arranged, helped with and supported fundraising events and collections over the past year.
