A HIGHLY regarded college is a most unlikely source of double entendre however free of indelicate implication. But a headline in Cornwall College's Education News inserted in Times Gazette of December 1 gives the reader a choice of meaning.

New Research Masters Students at Duchy College may mean that the students are mastered by their subject, New Research, or may mean that the students are studying to be research masters.

We are left to hope that the second interpretation is the correct one.
