THE first ever Christmas tree festival at St Bridget's Church in Bridestowe is proving a big hit before it even opens.
There will be 30 trees in the church, each decorated by a local club, group, business or individuals.
Starting this Saturday (December 13) and running through to Friday, December 19, the church will be open to visitors daily from 10am to 7pm.
On the opening day of the event, the church will host an evening of music and mulled wine from 6.30pm to 8pm.
The festival concludes on Friday, December 19 with a short tree service at 2.45pm followed by a festive tea. Entry is free of charge.
