After the presentation of trophies at the team and individual events in the annual inter-set swimming gala at Mount House School, the vice-chairman of the Friends of Mount House, Michael Smith, and Mary Hadow, whose son Wilf is head boy at the school, presented a garden bench to Jim and Jo Massey, on behalf of the parents.

After ten years as headmaster of Mount House, Jim Massey leaves at the end of this term to take up the position of director of marketing and admissions at Sherborne School in September.

The new headmaster at Mount House, Paddy Savage, currently in post at Norman Court School in Wiltshire, takes over in September.
