BERE Peninsula borough councillor Angela Blackman is hoping to enlist help from criminals to provide manpower for community projects.

The councillor is investigating the possibilty of involving offenders through restorative justice in which they pay their debt to society by helping communities.

She is interesting in hearing from local groups with specific projects which could benefit from the extra labour. These might include giving a community hall a facelift, for instance, or removing graffiti.
