NINETY-one pairs took part in Okehampton Golf Club's annual Barnes Cup which took the form of a four-ball better ball.

The winners with a staggering 49 points were S Rice and K Perryman. Second were B Coaker and N Phear with 45 points and third were D J and D File with 44 points.

All competitors congratulated the greenkeepers on the wonderful condition of the course and look forward to Saturday when they will play for the Brian Adams Salver.
