I LOVE Tavistock passionately.
I AM a Year 4 student at St Peter’s CofE Junior School, and when I came back after the bank holiday, the members of the gardening club and I found out there had been a robbery.
THE Tavistock and District branch of ‘Guide Dogs’ would like to thank everyone who generously gave money during our annual flag day collections on Saturday, April 27.

AS some council budgets become more and more stretched, we are seeing a worrying increase in extremely short home care visits to disabled and older people, often lasting just 15 minutes.
WE have had lots of press, support from ITV Westcountry Tonight, put up banners but still irresponsible dog owners continue to let their dogs foul the pavements of Tavistock!
A resident in Parkwood Road had a large pile of dog mess all across her gateway this week and couldn’t face clearing it up but the DP squad came out and cleared and disinfected the area for her.
WEST Devon needs a new strategy to deliver ‘Visitor Information’ and achieve the purpose of adding value to the visitor experience of the locality — the ultimate objective being to extend the average length of visitor stay and promote return visits.
