TAVISTOCK Memory Café will be the town mayor’s charity for the coming year, it was announced at last week’s meeting of Tavistock Town Council.
Cllr Anne Johnson said she was delighted to nominate the café.
‘It’s a small organisation which does an enormous amount of good work for people who are suffering from dementia, and their carers,’ said Cllr Johnson.
‘It think it’s a very good, worthwhile cause, which is run by volunteers who carry out a huge a mount of work.’
