Also Antique Dressers as well as local Pottery & Paintings! We also sell Slate Flooring, Slate Sills & Hearths which can be cut to size. We have a large quantity of Oak Beams in stock, various sizes up to 9 metres. Also natural curved Oak Lintels which look lovely above doors, windows & fireplaces. We also stock Natural Stone Paving, which will make a lovely feature in your garden. As well as Oak & Railway Sleepers, Oak Barrels, Garden Statutory, Urns & Planters too! Plus we have all the usual Granite Building Materials & Garden Features, including cobbles, quoins, lintels, flooring slabs, steps/kerbs, gateposts and troughs. Plan It – Plant It - Get Ready for Spring
It may seem strange to be thinking about how you want your garden to be next year when we haven’t reached the end of summer yet but now is the perfect time to look ahead to next spring.
If you want a fantastic show of snowdrops, daffodils and crocus then make sure you call in to Eggesford Gardens as the new stock of spring flowering bulbs is just arriving in the shop. Many varieties of bulbs can be planted from the end of August onwards and buying early means that you get the best choice of both range and quality. Autumn is also known as “nature’s planting time” and as well as bulbs, it is the best time to plant all kinds of things in the garden. Trees, shrubs and perennials planted in September and October will benefit from the warm soil and frequent rain to get the best start and become established before winter. You can also plant many varieties vegetable and soft fruit and re-seed the lawn at this time of year. TV gardener Sarah Raven has introduced a new range of flower seeds specifically chosen to attract pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies – some varieties can be sown outside up until October and they will give you a beautiful display next year. Get them at Eggesford Gardens now. Autumn and winter bedding plants will be available in August ready to replace your summer flowering displays as they start to fade. SILVERLEAF STUDIO
The Silverleaf Studio is an arts and crafts company. I specialize in decorating, painting and finishing interiors.This can be a straight forward colour change or something more creative required such as re-creating a certain look or style. For the person who requires an idea for their interior brought to life, this is what Silverleaf does. A blank surface turned to marble using paint techniques or perhaps turned to aged wooden panels or many other possibilities. Replicating designs and period style to fit- in with the original decor-it can be done. For those who wish to have a mural or trompe’l oeil unfolding across their ceiling or dining room wall, Silverleaf can make that happen. Even furnishings or stained glass work or features, its all within the Silverleaf Studio technique.
Background The Silverleaf Studio is my company and I formed it after perhaps over a decade and a half of working in the Applied Arts industry. This was creating and decorating sets for Feature Films,Television,Theatre,Opera. From this to fine decorating for a London Applied Arts company undertaking fine decorating projects for well known grand hotels, people and properties. Now, with my own company, I like the idea of making fine decorating available to anyone who has considered a more unique and specific decor for their own interior.
