The Copper Penny Inn
Wednesday, 30 May 2012
Local farmers Peter & Marion Baker would like to welcome you to their warm and friendly family run inn. We have farmed in Gulworthy for the past 40 years and also run a commercial pheasant shoot. We feel it is very important to keep the inn open and running and to keep the local community together. It is our belief to offer great British pub food, all homemade and expertly cooked using products sourced locally. Complimented with a superb choice of beverages, served in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We have an outstanding head chef, Brendan Tremills, who has previously worked in successful establishments such as St Mellion and Trethorn Golf club. We offer a lunch time and evening menu, as well as an extensive specials board which changes weekly. The pub includes a separate skittle alley which can be booked for private hire, it is a flexible room suitable for all occasions, including small weddings, birthday parties, meetings and general get togethers. We offer basket meals or meals pre ordered from our menu; it also contains its own private bar. The inn also has a beer garden which has recently been refurbished, offering space to sit outside and enjoy the warmer weather. We would like to thank everybody who has helped and supported us over the past couple of months, especially the local community who have been very welcoming and have supported us greatly in our new venture.
