Young Canadians take part in football academy tournament at Mount Kelly

FORTY one Canadian youth footballers from Calgary Foothills U13 and U14 stayed at Mount Kelly, Tavistock from July 28 to tomorrow (August 4).

They are currently playing in the ’Live Like A Pro Series’ against top youth academies including Plymouth Argyle, Exeter City, Southampton, Swindon Town and Champion Sports (AFC Bournemouth).  

Local Tavistock referees Allen and Mark Lewis are helping to officiate alongside Tommy Wheeldon, head coach of Calgary Foothills Soccer and Kits on Coaching.

The team are enjoying experiencing life and culture in the South West whilst competing in the series.
