TAVISTOCK hosted the Devon Ability Counts leagues on Sunday with around 300 footballers of various abilities taking part.
Teams from Barnstaple, Exeter, South Devon, Mid Devon and Plymouth took part.
The leagues now have a strong support in ladies’ football again which is now going in the right direction.
There was loads of laughter, friendships and some good standard football made for a successful day .
With the leagues at Stover called off last week due to waterlogged pitches Tavistock stepped forward as a back up.
Organisers expressed a big thank you to Tavistock College for agreeing to allow them to use their facilities.
The next fixtures are the County Cup finals on Sunday, April 23, where Tavistock Specials Ladies and premiership two sides have qualified followed by the final league fixtures to end the season on Sunday, May 21 at Devon FA headquarters.
